Kim (pictured above) was the everyday shortstop for Korea at the WBSC Premier12 2019 and was named the best utility of the National League. WBSC U-12 and U-15 Baseball World Cup alum Anthony Volpe earned the American League Gold Glove at shortstop.

The three medal-winning teams will compete in next year’s WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals, to be played in Buttrio and Castions di Strada, Italy, from 15 to 21 July. They will square off against world No. 2 Japan, No. 7 Australia, No. 8 Italy, No. 9 Netherlands and No. 11 China.
